Soh Chong Kian
Hon Meng worked for multinationals such as Procter and Gamble after graduation from NUS in 1992.
In 1999, he co-founded Fundsupermart.com (which later became iFAST Corporation) and was its Group Executive Director. He became a non-executive director of iFAST Corporation and assumed the position of the Chairman of the board's audit committee from 2010 to 2013.
He is also a co-founder of university portal www.theRightU.com and Chairman of Pecuniam Pte Ltd, an investment holding company.
Hon Meng indulges in writing in his spare-time. His plays and books have been published by Simon and Schuster, Heinemann, The National University Press, Martin and Elliot and Resonant Publishing, and have won several prizes. He also wrote regular columns for Fundsupermart Magazine and The Peak Magazine.
Hon Meng volunteers his time on the board of the Children Cancer Foundation and as a member of the Enactus Program Strategy Committee.
He is married and has two sons. He is a member of Mensa and struggles to maintain a rating of 1600 on Chess.com.
Chong Kian was a Public Service Commission (PSC) Scholar who returned from Stanford University with a Masters in Management Science and Engineering, and from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering (High Honours).
He served his bond at the Ministry of National Development and the Ministry of Health, where he was part of the Singapore Government Administrative Service Management Associates Program.
In his spare time, he plays golf, the violin and solves mathematical problems. He was part of the team that represented Singapore at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Bucharest, Romania in 1999, where he won a Bronze Medal.
